Udinese vs JuventusHaving began the title defence with a hard-fought away win over Chievo, Juventus will be looking to continue in the same manner when they host Udinese.

Led by effervescent Antonio Di Natale, the Zebrette beat Empoli in their opening fixture and now aim to make life difficult for the Serie A holders.

While Juventus did well to win their third successive league title last term, the team failed to impress on other fronts, and no wonder they now want the good performance in the Champions League to go with what they hope will be another league trophy.

There have been no major changes in Turin this summer, with Evra, Morata, Koman and Romulo joining and only back up players leaving the side.

The biggest change was on the bench as Max Allegri replaced now Italy coach Antonio Conte, and the new boss enjoyed a bright start as his charges defeated Chievo away in their opening fixture.

Even if some important players continue to miss out, the Bianconeri have been made 1.44 (4/9) favourites to claim maximum points.

Andrea Pirlo, Luca Marrone and Arturo Vidal are unavailable through injury, while Giorgio Chiellini is suspended for this clash.

The good new is that Carlos Tevez’s injury is not as serious as first feared, while Alvaro Morata and Andrea Barzagli have resumed training.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Buffon – Caceres, Bonucci, Ogbonna – Lichtsteiner, Pogba, Marchisio, Pereyra, Asamoah – Llorente, Tevez.

Last season was not that successful for Udinese as Francesco Guidolin’s side finished the league campaign in the bottom half, but that was probably not the reason for major changes in the playing squad since that tend to happen every summer.

The likes of Basta, Pereyra, Maicosuel, Lazzari and Lopez all left, while Thereau, Riera, Guilherme, Kone and Lucas were signed as their replacements.

But, even with all the new players, it was Antonio Di Natale who helped the club win the first two fixtures of the new season, scoring each and every goal in 5-1 win over Ternana and 2-0 triumph over Empoli.

With that in mind, it has to be noted that the veteran striker is available at 3.75 (11/4) to extend his scoring run against Juventus.

Talented goalkeeper Simone Scuffet continues to miss out with an ankle problem, with Orestis Karnezis set to deputize.

Maurizio Domizzi is unavailable after suffering a thigh injury, while Gabriel Silva is also out injured. Giampiero Pinzi and new signing Albert Riera are back from suspension.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Karnezis – Heurtaux, Danilo, Bubnjic – Widmer, Guilherme, Allan, Kone, Pasquale – Muriel, Di Natale.
