Juventus vs InterSerie A leaders Juventus go into this match on the back of the Super Cup match defeat to Napoli, which should serve as an extra incentive for Max Allegri’s charges to give their best on Tuesday evening.

The Nerazzurri, on the other hand, are in desperate need of a morale-boosting victory, but it remains to be seen if they are good enough to match the best team in the league.

Having done brilliantly to restore their domestic domination, Juventus are now eager to leave their mark in Europe as well, although they obviously hope to lift the fourth league title in a row.

The Bianconeri remain on the right track, having created a three-point advantage over title rivals Roma, although they have lost the battle for the first trophy of the season.

Namely, Juventus lost the Italian Super Cup match to Napoli after penalties after twice squandering a one-goal lead, so they will want to return to winning ways against Inter.

And with the Nerazzurri going through a very rough patch at the moment, bear in mind the Bianconeri can be backed at 1.50 (1/2) to claim maximum points.

Max Allegri welcomes back key defender Leandro Bonucci from suspension, while Luca Marrone and Martin Caceres return from injury.

However, the likes of Romulo (groin), Andrea Barzagli (ankle) and Kwadwo Asamoah (knee) remain in the infirmary.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Buffon – Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Chiellini, Evra – Pogba, Pirlo, Marchisio – Vidal – Tevez, Llorente.

New coach Roberto Mancini has so far failed to get Inter playing to their potential, with the Nerazzurri still languishing in the bottom half of the Serie A standings.

The Stadio Giuseppe Meazza outfit did show some improvement ahead of the winter break, beating Chievo on the road before coming from two goals behind to earn a draw against Lazio.

And while club officials are working hard on January reinforcements, Mancini will have to rely on the current crop of players for the high-profile clash against Juventus.

But, with Inter winning mere two of last ten away matches in the league, it is hardly surprising they are 8.50 (15/2) to win in Turin.

Lukas Podolski is likely to make the squad as he is set to complete a move from Arsenal, while Dodo should start after shaking off a head injury.

Yuto Nagatomo is away on international duty, but the good news is that there are no injured players at the moment at Giuseppe Meazza.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Handanovic – D’Ambrosio, Ranocchia, Juan Jesus, Dodo – Kuzmanovic, Medel, Hernanes – Kovacic – Icardi, Palacio.
