Red-hot Inter Milan will be searching for their seventh successive triumph on all fronts when they take on Bologna in the Coppa Italia last 16 stage.

Felsinei have shown some improvement as well and they will now attempt to stop the Nerazzurri in their tracks and make it to the quarter-finals.

Inter Milan looked to be heading towards yet another disappointing season when Frank de Boer was sacked from the post, but his successor Stefano Pioli has changed everything.

The former Lazio boss obviously needed some time to improve the results, but he eventually helped the Nerazzurri return to the right track.

Inter Milan seriously improved their top 3 hopes thanks to the impressive five-match winning streak in Italian Serie A that saw them climb to sixth in the overall standings.

The Nerazzurri are still five points behind Champions League positions, but there is still plenty of time to neutralise the gap.

Inter Milan start their Coppa Italia campaign by playing host to Bologna at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, and they can be backed at 1.44 (4/9) to win in ninety minutes.

Stefano Pioli is expected to make some changes to his starting line-up, with Marcelo Brozovic returning from Serie A suspension.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Handanovic – Nagatomo, Andreolli, Miranda, Santon – Brozovic, Gagliardini – Palacio, Banega, Biabiany – Eder.

Midway through the season and Bologna appear to have already secured Serie A survival, although shocking performances of Palermo, Crotone and Pescara played a big role.

The trio are now well adrift of other bottom table sides, including the Felsinei, who made a giant step towards avoiding the drop over the last couple of weeks.

Bologna defeated both Pescara and Crotone on the road to put a final nail in their respective coffins, losing to champions Juventus in between those two games.

This means that the Felsinei can now fully focus on the Coppa Italia clash against Inter Milan, where they will be hoping to extend the good run of results.

Head coach Roberto Donadoni will again have to make do without Saphir Taider, Filip Helander, Simone Verdi and Sadiq Umar.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Mirante – Torosidis, Gastaldello, Maietta, Masina – Dzemaili, Nagy, Viviani – Di Francesco, Destro, Krejci.
