Fiorentina vs InterThere will be plenty at stake when top 3 rivals Fiorentina and Inter Milan face each other at Artemio Franchi, with the Nerazzurri trailing Viola one point at the moment.

Having come really close to achieving Champions League qualification on several occasions in recent years, Viola finally wants to end the barren run this season.

The Artemio Franchi outfit definitely appears on the right track as they currently occupy the final top 3 berth, but warding off challenge from Inter Milan, AS Roma and AC Milan will be no easy task.

Viola suffered a major dip in form at the turn of the year, losing four of six games in all competitions, but they have since returned to the right track.

Home wins over Torino and Carpi were sandwiched between away draws with Genoa and Bologna, so Paulo Sousa’s men will want to continue the trend against Inter Milan.

Having won each of last three matches against the Nerazzurri, Viola are available at 2.25 (5/4) to make it four on the bounce.

Marcos Alonso, Tino Costa and Yohan Benalouane are all back in contention, but the Spanish full-back does not seem fit to start.

Milan Badelj and Matias Fernandez are out through injury and suspension respectively, while Cristian Tello should be preferred to Mauro Zarate.

Probable starting line-up (3-4-2-1): Tatarusanu – Roncaglia, Rodriguez, Astori – Bernardeschi, Vecino, Valero, Pasqual – Tello, Ilicic – Kalinic.

Inter Milan have seen their title bid falter in the space of just several weeks, but the reality is that Roberto Mancini’s side were never really in championship form.

All those 1-0 wins had to dry out some time, and we can now see that this team are not good enough to challenge the likes of Napoli and Juventus for the league trophy.

Home defeats to Lazio and Sassuolo were just a sign of things to come, as Inter have now recorded just one win in last six fixtures and the poor trend is unlikely to come to an end in Florence.

The Nerazzurri have failed to win any of last three league games on the road, losing to AC Milan while sharing spoils with Atalanta and Hellas Verona.

And with key forward Mauro Icardi rated doubtful with a stomach virus, Inter Milan players have little to hope for at the moment.

It is also important to note that Felipe Melo is banned, but Stevan Jovetic has recovered from injury, although he is unlikely to start.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-2): Handanovic – D’Ambrosio, Miranda, Murillo, Telles – Ljajic, Kondogbia, Medel, Perisic – Eder, Icardi.
