ManciniItalian side Inter Milan are set for the summer clear-out as the Serie A heavyweights are closing another unsuccessful campaign which will see them fail to grab the Champions League spot once again.

Roberto Mancini’s men are currently sitting fourth in the Serie A table, ten points behind AS Roma in third with just two games remaining in the Italian championship.

Nerazzurri are coming off from a disappointing 2-0 loss at Lazio at the weekend and pressure is piling once again as the club failed to make Eric Thohir investments worthwhile.

Inter have opened the Serie A season on a high, but their positive results have quickly been undone as the team started going down the standings thanks to some uninspiring performances in attack.

Roberto Mancini is unhappy with his current crop of players despite the fact club spent a great deal of money to boost the squad last summer.

Couple of players that were brought in at the beginning of current season have already left the club, while additional four are getting ready to pack their bags for a summer move out of the club.

Alex Telles, Felipe Melo, Adem Ljajic and Stevan Jovetic are all set to leave at the end of the season, according to reports from Gazzetta dello Sport.

The option to purchase Alex Telles’ deal for €8.5 million will not be exercised due to the pending arrival of Caner Erkin, while the similar scenario will be in place for Adem Ljajic, who look set to return to AS Roma as €11 million are too much for Roberto Mancini, who is thought to be a fan of the Serbian midfielder though.

Stevan Jovetic could follow the path of Xerdan Shaqiri as Inter are considering buying his deal from Manchester City for €14.5 million before selling him out immediately to another club. Atletico Madrid are thought to be monitoring the Montenegrin forward.

At the same time, Roberto Mancini is already making plans for new arrivals with Gazzetta dello Sport claiming that Inter are keen to pounce for Lucas Biglia and Pablo Zabaleta.

Inter will need to win their remaining matches in Serie A in order to keep their fourth place and grab hold of the Europa League place. Next up for Roberto Mancini’s men are Empoli and Nerazzurri are given the odds of 1.36 (4/11) @Bet365 to claim the maximum three points.
