According to reports in Italy, Inter Milan are interested in bringing Barcelona midfielder Rafinha back to the San Siro in the near future.

The Brazilian attacking midfielder spent the second-half of last season on-loan with the Italian giants from the Camp Nou. He eventually made 17 appearances, scoring two goals and providing three assists in Serie A.

Tuttosport now report that Luciano Spalletti is exploring the option of bringing Rafinha back to the club. The move could indeed be tempting for the 25-year-old having majorly struggled for game time in La Liga this season. He has so far only managed to make seven appearances in all competitions, with only five of those being starts.

He did manage to score in the UEFA Champions League though and it was ironically in a clash against his former side Inter Milan.

Should he move back to the San Siro, he would be competing with the likes of Marcelo Brozovic, Antonio Candreva, Ivan Perisic and Keita Balde Diao for a position in the starting XI.

Inter Milan are currently third in the Serie A table ahead of this weekend’s clash with Frosinone and can be backed at 33/1 with BetVictor to win the league at the end of the campaign.
