SanchezArsenal star player Alexis Sanchez could be on the move away from the Emirates during the final weeks of the summer transfer window.

The Chilean forward has less than two years remaining on his current deal with the Gunners and his failure to put pen to paper on fresh terms with Arsenal has alerted Serie A giants Inter.

Having been acquired by the Chinese firm Suning Holdings Group earlier this summer, Nerazzurri are prepared to make fresh squad investments during the summer in order to form a more competitive side that is expected to challenge for honours during the 2016-17 season.

Roberto Mancini has left the club earlier this month with the former Ajax boss Frank de Boer taking over with the task of changing the club’s identity and returning Inter to their former glory.

The owners are now ready to splash serious cash in order to accommodate De Boer in the transfer market and Alexis Sanchez appears to be topping the Dutchman’s wish list.

Spanish media outlet Fichajes claim that Inter have already submitted an offer for the Chilean star, who is reportedly willing to make a return to Italy should Inter make him the highest-paid player in Serie A with a mammoth salary of £7 million per season.

Reports also suggest that Arsenal are unwilling to let go of their prized asset for less than £69 million.

Sanchez joined the Gunners in the summer of 2014 from Barcelona, for a fee of £35 million and Gunners would only consider selling him if they manage to make a significant profit of the sale.

The 27-year-old Chilean scored 42 goals during his two seasons in north London, but his start to the new campaign was less than impressive.

Alexis Sanchez was one of the poorest performers in Arsenal’s 4-3 home loss to Liverpool at the beginning of the Premier League.

Arsenal are playing against the Champions Leicester City in the second round of England’s top tier and are given the odds of 2.45 (29/20) @BetVictor to emerge victorious from their trip to King Power Stadium.
