Xavi HernandeSpain boss Vincent del Bosque has revealed that it will be up to Xavi Hernandez to make a decision on his involvement in the crucial 2014 World Cup qualifier against France.

The Barcelona star missed the 1-1 draw against Finland with a hamstring injury and is now doubtful for the France match.

Vincent del Bosque says that he trusts the player to decide whether he is fit enough to start at Stade de France in Paris.

“Xavi knows his own physical condition better than anyone. If he says he is fit to play, then he’ll play,” Del Bosque said at a press conference.

“He’s one of those midfielders who does everything well.”

Spain are two points behind France at the moment and they need a win in Paris to boost their qualifying hopes. Ladbrokes has them at 2.38 (11/8) to return to winning ways.
