West Brom v West Ham

Saturday’s FA Cup fifth round action kicks off at the Hawthorns where West Bromwich Albion host West Ham United.

The Baggies booked their place in this stage of the competition by beating local rivals Birmingham City last month, and go in to the game on the back of Wednesday night’s 2-0 league win over Swansea City.

The five-time cup winners will be without injured duo Jonas Olsson and Yusuf Mulumbu, though Victor Anichebe should be fit enough to feature after missing the game against Swansea with a groin strain.

Saido Berahino, who bagged his fifteenth goal of the campaign last time out, is favourite to open the scoring at 6.5 (11/2) with a variety of firms, with recent addition Callum McManaman a 10.5 (19/2) chance with Bet Victor.

The home win is 2.5 (6/4) with Betfred, with the visitors as highly priced as the 3.1 (21/10) on offer from Bet Victor who price the draw at 3.4 (12/5).

Sam Allardyce’s men edged past League One Bristol City in round four, and are without a win since taking just two points from nine available since.

Defensive trio Guy Demel, Winston Reid and James Collins are all set to be side-lined for at least another week, while Andy Carroll is facing several weeks on the sidelines despite coming off the bench for Wednesday’s goalless draw with Southampton.

Goalkeeper Adrian was sent off at St Mary’s so Jussi Jaaskelainen is ready to deputise.

Diafra Sakho is 8.0 (7/1) with Bet Victor to get the first goal of the game, ahead of Enner Valencia, who is a 9.0 (8/1) chance with Ladbrokes.

The two sides have already met twice this season, with the New Year’s Day encounter at Upton Park ending all square while it was the Hammers who took the spoils from their visit to the Midlands with a 2-1 victory a month earlier.

In fact, both teams have scored in four of the last five clashes between the sides, so you may be tempted to back that outcome here at a generous 1.8 (4/5) with Ladbrokes.
