Van Nistelrooy: I won’t celebrate if I score against Real

Malaga striker Ruud van Nistelrooy says that he will not celebrate if he happens to score a goal against his former club at La Rosaleda.

Free spending Malaga are set to host high-flying Real, with the hosts heavily relying on former Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.

The Dutch forward, who scored just one goal in first seven La Liga games for Malaga, reveals that this will be a special game for him.

“It’s a special game for us and even more so for those who used to play in Madrid,” Van Nistelrooy told AS.

“Real are in a good form and have scored many goals in recent games, so this is a great challenge for us.”

Van Nistelrooy says the he won’t celebrate if he scores against Real Madrid.

“No, I think not, but I’m not thinking about it. The important thing for me is that we prepare for the game well.”

The Dutch forward is 3.75 (11/4) to score against his former club, whereas another former Real Madrid player, Julio Baptista is 4.00 (3/1) to score his second league goal of the season.
