Udinese remained in fourth place despite losing to Lecce as the Friulani were lucky enough to have all their rivals for the top 4 finish also lose their games last weekend.

Francesco Guidolin’s side ended the five-match winning run as they lost to Lecce and they are now hoping to return to winning ways when they play host to Roma. Udinese are 1.73 (8/11) to achieve a top 4 finish at 888Sport.

The Friulani are sweating over the fitness of Alexis Sanchez, who is doubtful with an adductor injury, whereas Antonio Di Natale and Medi Benatia should feature despite carrying minor knocks.

Gokhan Inler misses out through suspension, while Basta, Feronetti and Angella remain sidelined.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Handanovic – Benatia, Zapata, Domizzi – Isla, Abdi, Pinzi, Asamoah, Armero – Di Natale, Denis.

Roma not only remained six points adrift of the Champions League places but they also put their Europa League hopes in danger after losing at home to Juventus, meaning they simply have got to try and win this game.

Vincenzo Montella’s side find themselves in real problems before the trip to Udinese as they are under big pressure to get something from this game and we are yet to see how the players will react to this situation.

Nicolas Burdisso is set to deputize for Philippe Mexes, who has probably played his last game for the Giallorosi, with Julio Sergio another important absentee.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Doni – Cassetti, N.Burdisso, Juan, Riise – Pizarro, De Rossi – Taddei, Perrotta, Vucinic – Totti.

Udinese remain the favourites to win this game with home win paying 2.25 (5/4) at William Hill, whereas Roma are 3.60 (13/5) to win the game at Victor Chandler.
