FA-cup

The third round of the FA Cup is set to conclude on Wednesday evening, and White Hart Lane is the setting for the replay between Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley.

Nacer Chadli gave Mauricio Pochettino’s side the lead at Turf Moor the weekend before last, before Sam Vokes equalised seventeen minutes from time.

The hosts will be without Erik Lamela and Ryan Nelson, who both missed Saturday’s defeat at Crystal Palace with calf and hamstring problems respectively.

Harry Kane, who bagged his eighteenth goal of the season at the weekend, is unsurprisingly favourite to open the scoring at 4.5 (7/2) with most firms, with Christian Eriksen a 7.5 (13/2) chance with Bet 365.

The home win in ninety minutes can be backed at 1.5 (1/2) with Bet Victor, with the visitors as highly priced as the 8.0 (7/1) on offer from Bet 365, who have the draw at 4.75 (15/4).

The Clarets beat Queens Park Rangers on Saturday afternoon to climb out of the relegation zone and extend their unbeaten run to four games in all competitions.

With games against the three games immediately above them in the league coming after Wednesday evening’s match they will be keen to keep up the momentum.

Manager Sean Dyche has no new injury concerns so could name the same side that won last time out.
Top scorer Danny Ings is 10.0 (9/1) to get the first goal of the game with Bet Victor, with Sam Vokes a 12.0 (11/1) shot with Bet 365.

Twelve of the last fourteen games between these sides have seen both sides score, and Ladbrokes offer 1.9 (9/10) for that to happen this time around.

The last time they were paired together in a cup competition, it took penalties to decide the tie with Spurs beating the Clarets 6-4 on spot-kicks to progress to the final of the 2009 League Cup.

The North London side are 15.0 (14/1) with Paddy Power to win by that means this time around, as are their Lancashire opponents with a home game against Leicester City awaiting the winners in the fourth round a week on Saturday.
