Stuttgart vs BVBHaving slipped to the Bundesliga rock-bottom, Stuttgart are in a very difficult situation at the moment and this is clearly not the right time to be facing revived Borussia Dortmund.

The Millionaires recorded back to back wins to leave the bottom three and they have a perfect chance to further improve their survival hopes.

Stuttgart have been on a major downtrend over the past few years, but this is the first season when they actually fight for their lives.

Oddly enough, the Swabians have done better than expected on the road, taking 13 points from 11 games, but their shocking home form could cost them dearly.

Stuttgart were only able to win one of 10 home matches, losing seven games in the process, so no wonder they currently sit four points adrift of safety.

Huub Stevens’ side have been utterly disappointing in the new year, sharing spoils with FC Koln while losing to Gladbach, Bayern and Hoffenheim, and they could face all sorts of problems against Dortmund as well.

The hosts have some important missings given that Christian Gentner is banned and Daniel Didavi and Antonio Rudiger are out injured.

New signing Serey Die is expected to partner Oriol Romeu in the centre of the park, which should see Stevens change his formation to 4-2-3-1.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Ulreich – Sakai, Baumgartl, Niedermeier, Hlousek – Romeu, Die – Harnik, Leitner, Werner – Ibisevic.

This is proving to be a testing season for one of Europe’s most popular clubs, but there is finally some light at the end of the tunnel.

While the lack of confidence and injuries to star players certainly played a part, the Millionaires were pretty unfortunate to slip into the relegation zone, but it looks as though they won’t be returning to the bottom three any time soon.

Borussia were finally able to record back to back league wins for the first time since September, with Freiburg and Mainz unable to avoid heavy defeats.

As a result, the Millionaires have climbed to safety, but seeing as they are still mere one point clear of their relegation rivals, they will definitely want to see off Stuttgart as well.

And with their next opponents going through a very rough patch, you should know away win pays 1.70 (7/10) at Coral.

Even if Sebastian Kehl and Sven Bender have resumed training, Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to make changes to his starting line-up.

The likes of Erik Durm, Kevin Grosskreutz, Mats Hummels and Jakub Blaszczykowski remain unavailable for the Stuttgart clash.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Weidenfeller – Piszczek, Subotic, Sokratis, Schmelzer – Gundogan, Sahin – Kampl, Kagawa, Reus – Aubameyang.
