Bastian Schweinsteiger and Luis Gustavo missed training on Monday, but the pair should be fit for Bayern’s final game of the season against Stuttgart.

The Bavarians managed to pip Hannover to second place in the standings by winning three of their last four games, with the 8:1 win over St Pauli certainly the highlight of their season.

Andries Jonker’s side now have a chance to dislodge Bayer Leverkusen from the second place, but for that to happen Bayern need to beat Stuttgart and Leverkusen have to lose at Freiburg on the final day of the season.

The Bavarians should have an easy job against indifferent Stuttgart and they are 1.33 (1/3) with Bet365 to claim maximum points, especially as Andries Jonker should have nearly full squad to choose from.

Bastian Schweinsteiger missed training on Monday with a bruised foot, but he should recover in time to face Stuttgart.

Luis Gustavo, on the other hand, picked up a leg injury against St Pauli and he is a minor doubt for Saturday’s match.

Hamit Altintop has resumed full training following the three-week spell on the sidelines and he could be in contention for the Stuttgart game.
