With Milan looking to clinch the Serie A title and Roma hoping to stay in contention for the final Champions League berth, there is every chance we will see an entertaining encounter at Olimpico.

Roma currently sit just one point behind fourth-placed Lazio and since they will face Catania and Sampdoria after the Milan game, maybe this is the right time to back Roma to finish in top 4 at odds of 3.00 (2/1) offered by Betfair.

Roma returned to contention for Champions League places with back to back wins over Chievo and Bari, but Vincenzo Montella’s side now need to beat the Serie A leaders in order to put extra pressure on Udinese and Lazio.

Daniele De Rossi and Simone Perotta have been slapped with three-match bans, meaning the season is over for them, while Philippe Mexes and Simone Loria are other absentees.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Doni – Cassetti, N.Burdisso, Juan, Riise – Pizarro, Brighi – Taddei, Simplicio, Vucinic – Totti.

Milan have all but secured the Serie A title thanks to the impressive run of five straight wins and the Rossoneri are now 3.00 (2/1) with Paddy Power to make it six in a row.

Maxi Allegri’s side need just one more point to theoretically ensure the league title, so the visitors are likely to play a waiting game at Olimpico, especially as the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg clash with Palermo is due just three days later.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic returns to the side after missing the last three games through suspension and he is 2.80 (9/5) with Sportingbet to score at Olimpico.

Pato, Robinho and Pirlo are expected to start on the bench, whereas Pippo Inzaghi, Gennaro Gattuso and Marek Jankulovski are out with injuries.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Abbiati – Abate, Nesta, T.Silva, Zambrotta – Flamini, Van Bommel, Seedorf – Boateng – Cassano, Ibrahimovic.
