PSG vs LyonTwo of the most successful French clubs in the 21st century square off at Parc des Princes on Wednesday evening, battling for one place in Coupe de France quarter-finals.

Paris Saint-Germain have again been relentless this season, and this is especially true for the period of last two months.

Namely, the Saints have now recorded amazing 16 wins in a row in all competitions, thus creating a 24-point advantage at the league summit, while reaching the final stages of both domestic Cup competitions.

And while PSG will by vying Lille for Coupe de la Ligue trophy, they now face Lyon in the Coupe de France last 16 stage.

Laurent Blanc’s charges head into the game buoyed by the Clasico win over Marseille at Stade Velodrome, and they are 1.40 (2/5) to see off les Gones as well.

The coach is expected to make a couple of changes to his starting line-up, with Salvatore Sirigu, Edinson Cavani and Marquinhos all tipped to start.

However, Marco Verratti and Javier Pastore are definitely out, while David Luiz and Blaise Matuidi are unlikely to be risked.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Sirigu – Aurier, Kimpembe, Marquinhos, Kurzawa – Rabiot, Stambouli, Motta – Augustin, Cavani, Di Maria.

Not so long ago, Lyon were the dominant force in French football, winning seven league titles in a row, but the club have been going through a very rough patch of late.

Les Gones now have problems even clinching Champions League qualification, and they currently occupy sixth place in the overall standings, sitting three points behind third-placed Nice.

And while the league campaign obviously has the priority at the moment, Lyon will also want to prove their worth against mighty PSG, although chances are that coach Bruno Genesio will rest some of his regular starters.

The two teams met in Coupe de la Ligue clash at Parc des Princes less than a month ago, with the Saints recording a hard-fought 2-1 win.

Lyon have since won two of next four matches on the road, with 3-0 triumph over high-flying Angers definitely serving as a major confidence boost.

There have been no fresh selection worries for coach Bruno Genesio, but Nabil Fekir, Gueida Fofana and Rafael remain in the infirmary.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Lopes – Jallet, Yanga-Mbiwa, Umtiti, Morel – Grenier, Gonalons, Tolisso – Ghezzal, Lacazette, Valbuena.
