Paraguay coach: We will attack Brazil

There’s all to play for in Group B after both opening games finished goalless, and that puts an extra pressure on all four teams before the second round of fixtures.

The 2010 World Cup quarter-finalists, Paraguay and Brazil are set to face each other in what should be one of the most interesting games at 2011 Copa America.

While Brazil have no choice but to look for a win after the slip up against Venezuela, Paraguay could use even one point from this game, but coach Gerardo Martino is adamant his side will attack Selecao.

“We will not give up the intention of playing, attacking and to win the game,” Martino said at a press conference.

“We are not a perfect team. But we are working to maintain attention, concentration, and work-rate for 90 minutes.”

The experienced tactician is well aware of Brazil’s attacking potential.

“Dani goes on forever, outside, inside; he is almost a number 10. Not only Alves, but Ganso, Robinho, Pato, Neymar and many.”

Brazil star Dani Alves expects a very open game between two attack-minded sides.

“Paraguay is a team that likes to attack. I think that when we face opponents that also attack, the match is more open and gives you more possibilities.”

Everything suggests that we will see goals galore at Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes, so why not take the odds of 2.30 (13/10) offered by Betfair on over 2.5 goals.
