MLS side Orlando City have announced the signing of forward Dom Dwyer from Sporting Kansas City in a high-profile deal.
The England-born striker joins the club in a transfer that could reach $1.6 million, and he is the club’s first marquee signing this summer.
Having scored 51 goals in last three MLS campaigns, Dwyer is expected to prove a great addition to the squad midway through the new season.
The 26-year-old had begun his career in England, playing for Non-League side Kings Lynn, before going on to enjoy quite a few successful years with Sporting KC.
The player who switched his allegiance to the United States, made two appearances for the USMNT at the 2017 Gold Cup, scoring one goal.
