The first match of round 20 in German Bundesliga will see struggling Nurnberg entertain reigning champions Borussia Dortmund in freezing conditions in Southern Germany.

Nurnberg started the season with a 2:0 defeat to Borussia Dortmund, but then came two straight victories that hinted that die Legende could escape the relegation dogfight this term.

However, the good run didn’t last long and if it hadn’t been for the shock victory over Bayer Leverkusen, Dieter Hecking’s side would have finished the first part of the season in the bottom three.

After beating Hertha at home in the first match after the winter break, Nurnberg lost to Hannover and are now hoping a good result against Borussia will help them stay above the relegation zone.

However, having already lost three home games this term, die Legende could find it hard to stop in-form Borussia.

Per Nilsson remains sidelined with a knee injury, whereas Juri Judt, Javier Pinola, Timm Klose and Hanno Balitsch all lack match fitness and are out of contention.

Probable starting line-up (4-1-4-1): Schaefer – Feulner, Wollscheid, Maroh, Hlousek – Simons – Didavi, Cohen, Hegeler, Esswein – Pekhart.

The reigning Bundesliga champions experienced some problems at the start to the season, as they found it hard to fulfill the high expectations of their fans.

As the season unfolded, Jurgen Klopp’s side kept raising their form and they are now finally looking like the team that dominated the German football last term.

Impressive victories over Freiburg, Hamburger and Hoffenheim saw Borussia close the gap behind leaders Bayern Munich and they are now tied on points with their arch rivals as well as Schalke.

Considering the fact that all title contenders appear to be in excellent form at the moment, the Millionaires have got to try and win this game, and they look a good bet at 1.67 (2/3) offered by bet365.

Mario Goetze remains sidelined with a pubic bone injury, but the good news is that all other players are fit to feature.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Weidenfeller – Piszczek, Subotic, Hummels, Schmelzer – Bender, Kehl – Blaszczykowski, Kagawa, Grosskreutz – Lewandowski.
