PSG vs MarseilleDespite missing a chance to beat Lyon three weeks back, Marseille will have another opportunity to improve their title hopes when they host leaders PSG.

The Saints are two points clear of their title rivals, but with Lyon also breathing down their necks, they need to try and win at Stade Velodrome.

Marseille have enjoyed a tremendous season under Marcelo Bielsa, but they cannot start celebrating just yet as they haven’t even secured a Champions League qualification.

Impressive away wins over Toulouse and Lens got OM a bit closer to their goal and they were somewhat unfortunate not to have beaten Lyon at Stade Velodrome.

Marcelo Bielsa’s charges can now leapfrog Paris Saint-Germain by beating them on Sunday, with home win paying 3.20 (11/5).

Following the run of 11 straight home wins in the league, Marseille have failed to triumph in any of their last three home fixtures, which may be a cause for concern.

The hosts have received a major boost as key defender Nicolas N’Koulou resumed full training and he is widely tipped to start against PSG.

Michy Batshuayi could be preferred to Andre-Pierre Gignac up front, while Jeremy Morel returns from suspension.

Probable starting line-up (3-3-3-1): Mandanda – Fanni, N’Koulou, Morel – Dja Djedje, Imbula, Mendy – Ocampos, Payet, Ayew – Batshuayi.

Paris Saint-Germain have been enjoying another very successful season, although the main battles are still in front of them.

The Saints did brilliantly to reach the Champions League quarter-finals for the third year running, and they will now be vying Barcelona for a place in the semis.

Meanwhile, PSG finally have some serious rivals for the Ligue 1 title, with both Lyon and Marseille currently within touching distance.

The Saints are top of the pile with eight games to go, but a poor result at Stade Velodrome could change everything for Laurent Blanc’s side.

PSG have been made 2.45 (29/20) favourites to win the highly anticipated encounter, although they will certainly not have an easy job.

Laurent Blanc will have Marquinhos and David Luiz back to the side, but Lucas Moura, Serge Aurier and Yohan Cabaye continue to miss out.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Sirigu – Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Luiz, Maxwell – Verratti, Motta, Matuidi – Cavani, Ibrahimovic, Pastore.
