PSG vs LyonRevived Lyon will be looking to kick-start their title bid by defeating reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain, who in turn aim to catch current leaders Nice at the top.

Les Gones have found it hard to keep up with the likes of Nice, Monaco and PSG, while also struggling in the Champions League.

At one point in the season, Lyon lost five of six matches in all competitions, but the good news is they have since returned to the right track.

Three successive victories on domestic stage saw them climb to fourth in the league standings, but seeing as how they still sit seven points behind Champions League positions, this is another must-win game for les Gones.

Lyon also kept their hopes of reaching the CL knockout stages alive with a narrow win over Dinamo Zagreb, and they clearly head into the PSG game high on confidence.

The likes of Christophe Jallet, Emanuel Mammana and Rachid Ghezzal all missed the trip to Zagreb, and they are unlikely to face the Saints.

Corentin Tolisso, Nabil Fekir and Maciej Rybus are expected to be recalled after the trip was left out of the starting line-up in midweek.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Lopes – Rafael, Yanga-Mbiwa, Diakhaby, Morel – Ferri, Gonalons, Tolisso – Fekir, Lacazette, Rybus.

After several years in which they eased off to the Ligue 1 trophy, Paris Saint-Germain are facing a tougher challenge this term, with Nice, Monaco and even Lyon harbouring championship ambitions.

The Saints currently trail les Aiglons by three points, with the Principality club also in front of them in the standings, meaning they could be in problems unless they win at Parc OL.

Paris Saint-Germain did a giant step towards winning the first place in their Champions League group with a 2-2 draw at the Emirates that ensured they now boast superior head to head record against Arsenal heading into the final group game.

And having also won eight of last ten matches in all competitions, the Saints can be backed at 2.10 (11/10) to see off Lyon on the road.

Key midfielder Angel Di Maria should return from a thigh injury, while Javier Pastore could be back from a knee problem.

Meanwhile, Layvin Kurzawa is still some way off returning into action, meaning that veteran defender Maxwell will continue at left-back.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Areola – Meunier, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Maxwell – Verratti, Motta, Matuidi – Lucas Moura, Cavani, Di Maria.
