The derby of the round in Italian Serie A will see joint leaders Lazio and Juventus square off at Olimpico and there are no doubts we will witness a remarkable game.

Lazio really impressed in Serie A last summer and, eager to help the team keep their momentum going, the club chiefs decided to heavily reinforce the squad over the summer.

The arrivals of Klose, Cisse, Marchetti and Lulic, to name just a few, didn’t have the desired effect as the Biancocelesti struggled at the start to the season, but nobody doubted they would come good as soon as the team gelled.

That seems to have happened at the beginning of October, when Lazio embarked on a nine-match unbeaten run that saw them climb to the top of Serie A standings, while improving their chances of reaching the Europa League knockout stages.

Following a credible draw at San Paolo, Edy Reja’s men are high on confidence before the clash with Juventus, and they are 2.75 (7/4) with Stan James to claim maximum points.

Miroslav Klose and Giuseppe Biava should return to the starting line-up after recovering from injury, but Andre Dias is a major doubt.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Marchetti – Konko, Diakite, Biava, Radu – Brocchi, Ledesma, Lulic – Hernanes – Klose, Cisse.

Following big problems that the biggest Italian club experienced in the past decade, Juventus chiefs finally decided to do their best to help the club return to old glory days and everything suggests they are on the right track.

Despite having a great squad at his disposal, coach Antonio Conte has done well to get the Bianconeri playing the way he wants them to, with Juventus now the only unbeaten side in Italian top flight.

The Old Lady currently sit at the top of the standings with a game in hand and seeing that they have already beaten Milan and Inter, the odds of 3.25 (9/4) offered by Bet365 on Juventus to win Serie a title could be worth a shot.

Having beaten Fiorentina, Inter and Palermo in their last three games, the Bianconeri will fancy their chances against Lazio, with away win paying 2.70 (17/10) at Unibet.

Andrea Pirlo is an injury doubt, but is he recovers in time Andrea Conte will have full squad to choose from.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Buffon – Lichtsteiner, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini – Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio – Pepe, Matri, Vucinic.
