Juventus may be lagging behind Milan in the Serie A title race, but the Bianconeri are on the verge of beating their rivals to a place in the Coppa Italia final following the 2-1 victory in the first leg.

The Bianconeri have been struggling for form of late, with their four-match winless run in Serie A allowing Milan to create a four-point advantage at the top of the standings, bit Antonio Conte’s side appear to be back in business.

Juventus not only ended the poor run of results with a win at Artemio Franchi, but they recorded a 5-0 victory over fierce rivals Fiorentina to return some of the lost confidence before the all-important clash with Milan.

The Bianconeri are now very motivated to show everyone they are the best side in Italy, so odds of 2.38 (11/8) offered on home win by Stan James certainly look tempting.

Giorgio Chiellini should return to the side after recovering from injury, but Andrea Barzagli is unlikely to feature.

Boss Antonio Conte is expected to field his strongest line-up as his players will have five days to prepare for the Serie A derby against Inter.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Buffon – Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Caceres, Chiellini – Vidal, Pirlo, Marchisio – Pepe, Matri, Vucinic.

Milan look unstoppable at the moment and they cannot be written off despite the 2-1 defeat in the first leg at San Siro.

The Rossoneri recovered well from the disappointing defeat to Arsenal as they went on to cement the first place in the Serie A standings with comfortable victories over Lecce and Parma.

Max Allegri’s side are now brimming with confidence and they certainly believe they can overturn a one-goal deficit from the first leg.

That is easier said than done, but you should know Paddy Power pays 4.50 (7/2) on Milan to qualify for the Coppa Italia final.

The injury situation is improving as Clarence Seedorf, Maxi Lopez and Gennaro Gattuso all resumed full training, whereas Alessandro Nesta and Kevin-Prince Boateng could also be included in the squad to face Juventus.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Abbiati – Zambrotta, Nesta, Thiago Silva, Mesbah – Nocerino, Van Bommel, Seedorf – Aquilani – Ibrahimovic, Maxi Lopez.
