Italy TrainingItaly head coach Antonio Conte has announced the list of players that will take part in a training camp this week before the boss names his provisional Euro 2016 squad.

The Azzurri manager is set to reveal his 30-man preliminary squad on 23 May, but he will also test a number of players at a training camp in Coverciano this week.

Players from Juventus and AC Milan are missing due to the fact that they are set to contest the Coppa Italia final next weekend, while MLS stars Sebastian Giovinco and Andrea Pirlo have been overlooked.

Meanwhile, AS Roma hotshot Daniele De Rossi returns after a lengthy exile, whereas Fabio Borini and Antonio Mirante get their first call-ups since Antonio Conte took over.

There are a total of seven uncapped footballers in the squad and they include Marco Benassi, Danilo Cataldi, Armando Izzo, Davide Zappacosta, Marco Sportiello and Leonardo Pavoletti.

Italy have already lost Claudio Marchisio, Marco Verratti and Mattia Perin through injury, while Matteo Darmian could recover in time.

The Azzurri have been placed into a very difficult group at the Euro 2016 and they are priced at 2.70 (17/10) to leave Belgium, Sweden and Republic of Ireland trailing in their wake.
