HerthStruggling Hertha will attempt to keep the good home run going and move further away from the relegation zone, but they could face a tough task against high-flying Hannover.

The 96ers climbed to sixth by winning their last two league fixtures and now plan to make it three on the bounce in Berlin.

Having shown a great deal of potential on their return to German Bundesliga last term, the club did their best to ensure the uptrend in fortune continues, reinforcing the squad with several high-quality players.

However, Hertha had a pretty disappointing start to the new campaign, taking just two points from first four games and they now sit in 13th position.

The only positive is that Jos Luhukay’s charges have managed to stabilise their home form, winning last three matches at Olympiastadion in Berlin.

Having defeated Wolfsburg, Stuttgart and Hamburg on home soil, Hertha look a good bet at 2.10 (11/10) to see off Hannover as well.

There have been some good news for coach Jos Luhukay as key attacker Anis Ben-Hatira resumed light training, but he is still a couple of weeks away from returning into action.

Valentin Stocker is back in contention, while Nico Schulz is doubtful and Julian Schieber is definitely out through injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Kraft – N’Djeng, Heitinga, Lustenberger, Pekarik – Hosogai, Skjelbred – Beerens, Ronny, Stocker – Kalou.

Many were surprised to see inexperienced Tayfun Korkut appointed to replace Mirko Slomka midway through last season, but the Turkish coach has since done brilliantly to get Hannover back to where they belong.

After steering the 96ers away from the relegation zone and achieving a mid table finish last term, Korkut and his charges continued the rich vein of form and currently occupy sixth position in the overall standings.

It was not all plain sailing for Hannover though given that the team suffered three straight defeats in the league, while also getting eliminated from the DFB Pokal.

However, the 96ers seem to be back in business, having defeated Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt in their last two Bundesliga fixtures.

Hannover will not have an easy job against very good Hertha side, but they are available at 3.80 (14/5) to make it three wins in a row.

Captain Lars Stindl is in line for his first league appearance of the season after recovering from a knee injury, but Leon Andreasen, Miiko Albornoz and Christian Pander are unavailable.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Zieler – Sakai, Marcelo, Schulz, Prib – Schmiedebach, Gulselam – Briand, Kiyotake, Bittencourt – Joselu.
