Israel vs WalesGroup B leaders Israel will be hoping to make their perfect record intact when they host Wales and make another major step towards the tournament finals.

Meanwhile, the Dragons would cement a top 2 position with a positive result in Haifa and edge closer to making their first appearance at European Championships since 1976.

Israel fans haven’t had much to cheer about during the twentieth century as the national team only once appeared at a major tournament, crashing out in the group stage of the 1970 World Cup.

The Western Asian side started taking part in the European Championship qualifiers ahead of the 1996 finals, but they have yet to enjoy a successful campaign.

Their barren run could end soon as Israel lead the chase in Group B after winning their first three fixtures and they are 2.30 (13/10) to extend the impressive run against Wales.

Israel started the campaign with away wins over Cyprus and Andorra, but it was the 3-0 triumph over Bosnia-Hercegovina that proved they have what it takes to match the best sides in the group.

Star players Yossi Benayoun and Eden Ben Basat continue to miss out, while Eli Dasa and Roi Kahat have a chance to earn their first caps.

Leipzig striker Omer Damari and CSKA Moscow hotshot Bibras Natcho will be the men to watch in the home side.

Probable starting line-up (4-1-4-1): Marciano – Meshumar, Tibi, Ben Haim, Ben Harush – Yeini – Vermouth, Zahavi, Natcho, Ben Haim – Damari.

Wales long wait for an appearance at a major tournament could be over soon, that is if Chris Coleman’s charges keep the rich vein of form throughout the qualifying campaign.

The Dragons were once again placed into a difficult qualifying group, but they, nonetheless, impressed in the opening exchanges.

Wales enjoyed hard-fought wins over Andorra and Cyprus, while sharing spoils with Bosnia and Belgium, and they arrive in Israel full of confidence.

And with all key men available for selection, there may be value in odds of 3.75 (11/4) offered at Coral on away win.

James Chester, Adam Matthews and Jonathan Williams are among those to miss out, but Andy King returns from a two-match ban.

The likes of Gareth Bale, Joe Allen and Aaron Ramsey are expected to start and no doubts the visitors will heavily rely on the trio to help them get a good result in Haifa.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-2-1): Hennessey – Gunter, Collins, Williams, Taylor – Allen, Ledley, Ramsey – Robson-Kanu, Bale – Vokes.
