Hoffenheim vs Bayern MunichThe two of three surprise packages in this year’s Bundesliga are set to square off at Commerzbank Arena, with both Eintracht and Hoffenheim looking to extend their impressive runs.

This has been without a doubt one of the best starts to a league campaign in Eintracht’s recent history, and they are determined to make the most of the unique opportunity.

The team have performed really well under former Croatia boss Niko Kovac, with four wins in last six games seeing them climb to fifth in the overall standings.

Frankfurt have also won four of six home games in the current campaign (D2), but extending the excellent run against high-flying Hoffenheim will be no easy task.

Although, having defeated mighty Borussia Dortmund last time out at Commerzbank Arena, Eintracht can be backed at 2.45 (29/20) to do the same against TSG.

Mexican forward Marco Fabian returns to the side, with Branimir Hrgota likely to be dropped, but the injury list remains quite long.

Namely, the likes of Slobodan Medojevic, Danny Blum, Yanni Regasel, Anderson Bamba, Marco Russ, Shani Tarashaj, Guillermo Varela and Taleb Tawatha are all sidelined.

Probable starting line-up (3-4-2-1): Hradecky – Abraham, Hasebe, Vallejo – Chandler, Mascarell, Huszti, Oczipka – Fabian, Gacinovic – Meier.

Hoffenheim have had their share of good Bundesliga starts and impressive campaigns altogether, but not of late, so they must be delighted with the way the current season is unfolding.

Led by the youngest ever head coach in Germany’s top flight, TSG have been in excellent form this term, and they currently occupy one of the Champions League positions.

Together with leaders RB Leipzig, Hoffenheim remain one of just two unbeaten sides in the current campaign, with 6 wins and 7 draws in first 13 fixtures.

After being held to scoring draws by Bayern Munich, Hamburger and Borussia M’gladbach, TSG did well to return to winning ways, hammering FC Koln 4-0 last time out.

The injury situation at Hoffenheim is much better than that of their opponents, with only Kerem Demirbay, Gregor Kobel and Dennis Geiger unavailable for selection.

Striker Andrej Kramaric faces a fitness test as he battles an ankle problem, with Mark Uth ready to deputise if needed.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Baumann – Sule, Vogt, Hubner – Kaderabek, Amiri, Rudy, Rupp, Toljan – Wagner, Kramaric.
