All eyes will be on Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon as Chelsea face Manchester City in the final of the EFL Cup.

The two sides, who have each won the trophy on five occasions have already played each other twice this season, with Chelsea becoming the first side to beat the Champions in the league when they met at Stamford Bridge back in December.

However, Pep Guardiola’s side certainly got their revenge, to the tune of a 6-0 hammering at the Etihad Stadium just two weeks ago.

The Blues last won the trophy in 2015, and beat Liverpool, Derby County, Bournemouth and Tottenham Hotspur to book their place in this season’s final.

Willy Caballero could face his former club with first choice goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga struggling with a hamstring problem while Davide Zappacosta is ill, and Pedro has a stomach ache.

Gonzalo Higuain is priced at 9.0 (8/1) to open the scoring, with Eden Hazard a 10.0 (9/1) chance with Unibet.

Chelsea are priced at 6.0 (5/1) to win the match inside ninety minutes, with City favourites, widely available at 1.57 (4/7). The draw can be backed at 4.6 (18/5) with Unibet.

The Citizens, who lifted the trophy twelve months ago eliminated Oxford United, Fulham, Leicester City and Burton Albion on route to Wembley – the latter by an aggregate scoreline of 10-0.

It remains to be seen whether Guardiola keeps faith with Arijanet Muric in goal, with first choice shot-stopper Ederson in contention for a start.

The game is likely to come to soon for John Stones, though Benjamin Mendy and Gabriel Jesus could feature after not being involved in the win over Schalke on Wednesday.

Sergio Aguero, who bagged a hattrick in that 6-0 victory a fortnight ago is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 4.6 (18/5) with Unibet, with Raheem Sterling priced at 6.5 (11/2) with some firms.

Only one side has scored in each of the last five meetings between these two sides, so you may be tempted to back that being the case this time around at 2.15 (23/20) with Betfair.
