Belgium vs USAFollowing a mixed success at the start of the Euro 2016 qualifiers, Denmark will want to give their best in friendlies against Team USA and France in March.

Meanwhile, Jurgen Klinsmann has left quite a few star players out of the squad as he clearly wants to test some new players against Denmark and Switzerland.

The Nordic side missed out on the 2014 World Cup play-offs despite finishing second in their qualifying group, while they had a pretty disappointing start to the Euro 2016 qualifiers as well.

After coming from a goal behind to defeat Armenia at home, Denmark narrowly avoided a defeat in Albania, while the home loss to Portugal seriously damaged their qualifying hopes.

But, Morten Olsen’s men then produced a perfect response to defeat Serbia on the road and thus climbed to the top of the group standings.

Denmark will contest three high-profile friendlies before their qualifying campaign resumes, and they are 2.20 (6/5) to win the first one of those.

Important defenders Daniel Agger and Andreas Bjelland are out injured, with Thomas Kahlenberg also missing out.

Meanwhile, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Jores Okore are rated doubtful, with Mathias Jorgensen and Erik Sviatchenko called as potential replacements.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Schmeichel – Wass, Kjaer, Jacobsen, Boilesen – Hojbjerg, Kvist, Eriksen – Vibe, Bendtner, Krohn-Dehli.

United States have finally proved their worth at a major tournament, having largely impressed at the 2014 World Cup under Jurgen Klinsmann.

Team USA did really well to pip Portugal and Ghana to a second place in the group of death before giving Belgium a tough time in the first knockout stage.

They have since suffered several defeats in international friendlies before finally returning to winning ways against Panama last month.

Jurgen Klinsmann has raised quite a few eyebrows with his squad for matches against Denmark and Switzerland, as he decided to introduce some talented youngsters while leaving the likes of Cameron, Besler, Gonzalez, Diskerud and Guzan out.

Julian Green, Ventura Alvarado, Miguel Ibarra and Rubio Rubin are among those expected to get much needed playing time on international level.

Aron Johannsson is back after six months, while Danny Williams returns from a year-long exile. Jozy Altidore and Clint Dempsey have also been included.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Yarbrough – Yedlin, Brooks, Ream, F. Johnson – Bradley, Bedoya – Zardes, Dempsey, Ibarra – Altidore.
