Italy vs NetherlandsCzech Republic have been handed a tough draw at the start of the Euro 2016 qualifying campaign seeing as how they will be playing very good Netherlands side who achieved a third-place finish at the 2014 World Cup.

Despite reaching the quarter-finals at the Euro 2012, the Central European side failed to qualify for the 2014 World Cup, finishing third in their qualifying group behind Italy and Denmark.

Following the friendly win over Canada in November, Pavel Vrba took over the reigns, but he is yet to win his first game in his new job.

The Czechs shared spoils with Norway and Finland before suffering defeats to Austria and United States, so they clearly go into the Netherlands clash low on confidence.

Midweek loss to USA has created additional problems, and there does not appear to be any value in odds of 4.33 (10/3) offered on home win.

With no fresh injuries to report, coach Pavel Vrba looks set to stick to the same side that started the friendly matches against United States.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Cech – Kaderabek, Prochazka, Kadlec, Limbersky – Darida, Jiracek – Pilar, Rosicky, Krejci – Vydra.

Coach Louis van Gaal may have left the post after achieving a third-place finish at the 2014 World Cup, but Guus Hiddink in turn inherited a great group of players.

Most of the players who featured in Brazil have made Hiddink’s first squad, while Ibrahim Afellay and Rafael van der Vaart have been recalled.

The boss didn’t have the best of starts on his return as Oranje were defeated 2-0 by Italy in Bari, although they did play almost the entire match with ten men on the pitch.

Chances are Netherlands will look much better when they face out-of-sorts Czech Republic, so bear in mind away win pays 2.00 (1/1).

Joel Veltman is expected to deputize for Bruno Martins Indi, even if the Porto defender is available for selection despite receiving a red card against Italy.

However, the likes of Arjen Robben, Ron Vlaar, Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Jordy Clasie and Rafael van der Vaart are unavailable through injury.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Cillessen – Janmaat, de Vrij, Veltman, Blind – Wijnaldum, de Jong, Sneijder – Lens, Van Persie, Kujt.
