Croatia vs BelgiumSitting five points adrift of their next opponents, Croatia can keep their chances of sealing automatic qualifying berth alive only with three points from this match.

Meanwhile, Belgium will be in a good position even if they happen to lose in Zagreb, but the Red Devils are likely to try and secure the first place in the group as soon as possible.

Despite showing a lot of promise at the Euro 2012, Croatia experienced all sorts of problems at the start of the 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign.

That was probably due to the fact that long-serving coach Slaven Bilic had stepped down from the post, with inexperienced Igor Stimac taking over the reigns.

And even if the team picked up no less than 16 points from first 6 matches, their performances were far from impressive, so it was only a matter of time before they started struggling.

Home defeat to Scotland and lucky draw against Serbia acted as a serious blow to Croatia’s World Cup hopes, but at least they have managed to secure the second place in the group and a play-off berth.

A victory over Belgium would see them return into contention for the first position, but there is no value in odds of 2.45 (29/20) offered at BetVictor on home win.

The hosts will be missing key defenders Darijo Srna and Josip Simunic through suspension, which could see them switch to 3-5-2 formation.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Pletikosa – Corluka, Lovren, Vida – Rakitic, Kovacic, Modric, Vukojevic, Perisic – Mandzukic, Olic.

For several years now, Belgium have been regarded as one of Europe’s most talented sides, but they were not really able to live up to the billing.

However, the team clicked just before the start of the 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign and have been largely impressive ever since.

Despite being placed into an evenly matched group, the Red Devils eased off to the first place in the standings, dropping just two points along the way.

However, after sharing spoils with Croatia in the second group game, they have won five straight fixtures, so you might want to know away win pays 3.10 (21/10) at Unibet.

The visitors have severe selection problems given that Christian Benteke and Vincent Kompany are out injured, whereas Moussa Dembele is doubtful with an ankle problem.

The good news is that star midfielder Marouane Fellaini should start in spite of picking up a wrist injury last week.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Courtois – G. Gillet, Alderweireld, Van Buyten, Vertonghen – Defour, Fellaini, Witsel – Mertens, Lukaku, Hazard.

Although Kompany and Benteke are not playing, i think Vertonghen and Lukaku are for sure strong enough to replace those two. Croatia will have to attack, so Belgium is gonna get more space then in the 1-1 game at Brussels. I hope for goals of Lukaku and de Bruyne, and a 1-2 or 1-3 result.
