Tevez VidalArgentine daily newspaper Ole has suggested that Boca Juniors star Carlos Tevez is almost certain to miss the Superclasico against Brazil through injury.

La Albiceleste have been made 2.40 (7/5) favourites to defeat their arch rivals despite the fact that they are missing quite a few first team regulars.

The likes of Leo Messi, Sergio Aguero, Pablo Zabaleta and Ezequiel Garay had earlier been ruled out and it has now been revealed that Carlos Tevez could miss out as well.

Namely, the experienced forward suffered a sprained knee while helping Boca Juniors secure a domestic double and there is every chance he will be forced to withdraw.

The Argentina medical team will make the final decision during the day, but things are not looking good for the former Juventus star.

There have been more worries for coach Gerardo Martino ahead of the Superclasico, as PSG midfielder Javier Pastore is also struggling through injury.

The attacking midfielder trained on his own on Monday, but he has a much better chance of making the match squad than Tevez.
