USMNT manager Bruce Arena has revealed that he could make up to five changes to his starting line-up for the Panama game.

United States recovered from opening defeats to Mexico and Costa Rica as they hammered Honduras 6-0, but they still sit outside of automatic qualifying berths.

Sebastian Lletget and John Brooks were released from the squad due to foot injury and sinus infection respectively, with Tim Ream and Alejandro Bedoya expected to deputize.

However, Bruce Arena went on to suggest that he could ring few more changes.

“We won’t have a lot of changes but we must have a couple at a minimum with the loss of Lletget and Brooks,” Arena said at a news conference.

“There will be some changes, perhaps as many as four or five, but we’ll see after training today before we finalize our team.”

“We are not overconfident,” Arena said. “We know we are playing against a very good opponent, and realize every time we play in a World Cup qualifying game on the road in CONCACAF it will be a very difficult match.”

USA have been made 2.15 (23/20) favourites to see off Panama tonight.
