Dortmund vs Wolfsburg 3-3Fresh from the impressive 3-0 triumph over Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund aim to secure their place in the DFB Pokal final by defeating Wolfsburg at their Signal-Iduna Park.

The Wolves, too, go into the game in high spirits having hammered Nurnberg at the weekend, but they remain the underdogs here.

Borussia Dortmund have proved time and again they can mix it up with Europe’s top sides and considering everything thrown their way this season, the Millionaires can be perfectly happy with their achievements.

It was Jurgen Klopp’s tactical mastery that helped the team keep the results at a respectable level in spite of the hectic schedule and numerous injury worries, with their recent results proving BVB enter the business end of the season in great form.

Following a stunning display in the 2-0 Champions League triumph over Real Madrid, Borussia produced another great performance as they hammered bitter rivals Bayern Munich at Alianz Arena to prove a 17-point gap is a bit harsh on them.

And having all but secured the second place in the league standings, the Millionaires can fully focus on the DFB Pokal semi-final tie against Wolfsburg, where they are 1.45 (9/20) favourites to win in regulation time.

After defeating the same opponents 2-1 in the league just ten days ago, Borussia will be hoping for more of the same.

There are no fresh injury worries for Jurgen Klopp, but Subotic, Schmelzer, Blaszczykowski, Bender and Gundogan remain on the sidelines.

Probable starting line-up (4-1-4-1): Weidenfeller – Piszczek, Sokratis, Hummels, Durm – Kehl – Jojic, Mkhitaryan, Reus, Grosskreutz – Lewandowski.

Wolfsburg are clearly enjoying one of the most successful seasons in recent years, but there is still a lot of work to be done.

The Wolves sit one point behind fourth-placed Bayer Leverkusen in the league standings with just four games to go, and they seem to have a very good chance to clinch the Champions League qualification.

Meanwhile, Wolfsburg will battle Borussia Dortmund for a place in the DFB Pokal final, with Dieter Hecking’s charges priced at 4.33 (10/3) to qualify.

The Wolves produced a very good performance at Signal-Iduna Park some ten days ago, but they were unable to hold on to their lead and ended up losing the game 2-1.

Dieter Hecking’s men will be hoping to fare much better this time out and take advantage of Dortmund’s injury worries.

First choice keeper Diego Benaglio continues to miss out, just like holding midfielder Slobodan Medojevic, but Christian Trasch has returned into action. Ricardo Rodriguez is banned.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Grun – Trasch, Naldo, Knoche, Schafer – Gustavo, Malanda – de Bruyne, Arnold, Perisic – Olic.
