Dortmund vs Wolfsburg 3-3Second-placed Borussia Dortmund will be looking to make amends for the heavy defeat to Real Madrid when they host Wolfsburg and at the same time cement their top 4 position.

Meanwhile, the Wolves sit just one point short of the final Champions League berth, but they need to try and get something from Signal-Iduna Park in order to keep their hopes alive.

Borussia Dortmund were always going to have problems repeating the results from last season when they narrowly missed out on the Champions League title, and they indeed experienced plenty of problems this term.

Jurgen Klopp was very unfortunate to have some key players pick up serious injuries and with the team clearly lacking strength in depth, the results have suffered.

The Millionaires are now on the verge of European elimination having suffered a 3-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the first leg of their quarter-final tie, but they did well to climb back to the second position in the Bundesliga.

Following the 3-2 away triumph over Stuttgart last time out, BVB have been made 1.50 (1/2) favourites to defeat Wolfsburg as well.

Borussia players will have less than 72 hours to prepare for this game, but numerous injury worries mean Jorgen Klopp will not be able to rest any of his starters.

The good news is Robert Lewandowski returns from a European ban, but Schmelzer, Subotic, Bender, Blaszczykowski and Gundogan remain on the sidelines.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Weidenfeller – Piszczek, Hummels, Papastathopoulos, Durm – Kehl, Sahin – Grosskreutz, Mkhitaryan, Reus – Lewandowski.

Wolfsburg made quite a transition under Dieter Hecking, having completed a journey from relegation strugglers to Champions League hopefuls in just over a year.

Some very good showings have seen the Wolves mount a serious top 4 challenge in Bundesliga and with just six games to go they sit one point adrift of fourth-placed Schalke.

Wolfsburg have also made it to the DFB Pokal semi-finals, where they will be vying Borussia Dortmund some ten days after the league clash at Signal-Iduna Park.

Dieter Hecking’s charges recorded back to back triumphs over Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt to revive their top 4 bid, and they are now 6.50 (11/2) to pour more misery on the Milionaires.

Their 5-3-6 away record this season could give the Wolves reason for optimism ahead of the clash with Borussia Dortmund.

Dieter Hecking has some important missings to contend with, given that Diego Benaglio, Slobodan Medojevic, Bas Dost, Tim Close and Vieirinha are all out injured.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Grun – Trasch, Naldo, Knoche, Rodriguez – Gustavo, Malanda – de Bruyne, Arnold, Perisic – Olic.
