BVB vs SchalkeRevived Borussia Dortmund host Schalke in the latest edition of the Revierderby, hoping to extend the impressive run of results in German Bundesliga.

Meanwhile, the Miners cannot afford too many slip-ups if they want to secure another Champions League qualification, meaning we should see a great game of football at Signal-Iduna Park.

Even if they sat at the Bundesliga rock bottom just few weeks ago, the Millionaires appear ready to turn this season into a success.

Three successive wins in the league saw them escape the danger zone and move closer to the top table positions and there is still plenty of time to close the gap behind European positions.

And while neutralizing the ten-point gap behind Champions League places may be a big ask, I would not be surprised to see them click Europa League qualification.

Borussia also fared well in the Champions League clash with Juventus, with the 2-1 defeat in Turin giving them a decent chance of going through.

And with the players finally high on confidence, you should know that the Millionaires are 1.50 (1/2) to defeat Schalke on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp should have Neven Subotic back from illness, but Lukasz Piszczek, Kevin Grosskreutz and Erik Durm are all unavailable.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Weidenfeller – Sokratis, Subotic, Hummels, Schmelzer – Gundogan, Sahin – Blaszczykowski, Kagawa, Reus – Aubameyang.

The early days of Roberto Di Matteo’s reign at Veltins Arena were quite successful, but the Italian needs to show what he is made of in the crucial stage of the season.

Despite giving a good account of themselves in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 stage clash with Real Madrid, the Miners are on the verge of elimination, but at least they can now fully focus on the league campaign.

Schalke enjoyed a bright start to the second part of the season, defeating Hannover and Borussia M’gladbach at home while bringing one point from Alianz Arena.

However, they have failed to impress in last two matches, taking just one point from games with Eintracht and Werder, although at least their top 4 rivals did not take advantage of their problems.

But, with Augsburg and Bayer Leverkusen breathing down their necks, Schalke will have to try and win at Signal Iduna Park, with away win paying 7.50 (13/2).

The good news is star striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar has resumed training from injury and is available for selection having completed a four-match ban.

However, the likes of Fahrmann, Giefer, Kirchhoff, Kolasinac, Matip, Uchida, Draxler, Goretzka, Farfan and Obasi continue to miss out.

Probable starting line-up (3-5-2): Wellenreuther – Howedes, Neustadter, Nastasic – Barnetta, Hoger, Aogo, Boateng, Fuchs – Huntelaar, Choupo-Moting.
