Dortmund vs GladbachOne of Europe’s best sides will be desperate to kick-start their league campaign after losing last five fixtures, but they will be up against very good Borussia M’gladbach side.

Unlike their next opponents, die Fohlen are playing their best football in years and arrive at Signal-Iduna Park brimming with confidence.

This has easily been one of the strangest seasons in club’s recent history, with Borussia Dortmund largely disappointing in Bundesliga yet absolutely impressive in all other competitions.

The Millionaires have won all four Champions League fixtures in style despite facing the likes of Arsenal, Galatasaray and Anderlecht, while winning the German Super Cup match and two games in DFB Pokal.

Meanwhile, BVB have taken just one point from last seven Bundesliga matches, losing last five, so no wonder everybody at the club is eager to arrest the barren run.

There are no doubts the hosts will be under pressure in spite of the 4-1 triumph over Galatasaray, but bear in mind home wins pays 1.65 (13/20).

Despite having a midweek fixture, Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to make changes to his starting line-up as continuity could prove to be key to ending the poor run.

Meanwhile, Mats Hummels, Nuri Sahin, Jakub Blaszczykowski and Ji Dong-won are unavailable through various injuries.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Weidenfeller – Piszczek, Subotic, Sokratis, Durm – Bender, Kehl – Mkhitaryan, Kagawa, Reus – Aubameyang.

Together with Bundesliga holders and current leaders Bayern, Borussia M’gladbach are the only unbeaten side in the league, which speaks volumes about their performances.

Die Fohlen have done brilliantly to successfully balance between their domestic and European campaigns, seeing as how they have all but secured a place in the Europa League knockout stages.

Meanwhile, Borussia climbed to third in the Bundesliga standings and they seem determined to clinch Champions League qualification this time out.

After outplaying mighty Bayern at home, die Fohlen managed to defeat high-flying Hoffenheim and they can be backed at 5.50 (9/2) to pour more misery on Borussia Dortmund.

Apart from Granit Xhaka, coach Lucien Favre has no selection worries, although a number of players will be recalled after they were rested in midweek.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Sommer – Korb, Jantschke, Stranz, Wendt – Kramer, Nordtveit – Hahn, Raffael, Herrmann – Kruse.
