Dortmund vs BayernBorussia Dortmund revived their European hopes by defeating Hannover on the road and they now have a perfect opportunity to prove they are still a force to be reckoned with in Germany.

Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich arrive at Signal-Iduna Park looking to make amends for the home defeat to Borussia M’gladbach, but they are missing quite a few star players.

Borussia Dortmund’s season had gone from bad to worse in the first part of the season, but the Millionaires slowly returned to the right track after the winter break.

Jurgen Klopp’s charges notched up several good results in a row to escape the danger zone, but back to back draws with Hamburg and Koln halted their progress.

The Millionaires have since defeated Hannover away to climb to 10th in the Bundesliga standings, although they were eliminated from the Champions League at the hands of Juventus.

Nevertheless, with European positions just five points away, Borussia will have plenty of motives to give their best against arch rivals Bayern, so bear in mind that home win pays 3.70 (27/10).

Jurgen Klopp had all his internationals return to the club unscathed, but Nuri Sahin, Marcel Schmelzer and Lukasz Piszczek remain sidelined.

Kevin Grosskreutz is back after a two-month spell on the sidelines, but he is highly unlikely to feature in such an important match.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Weidenfeller – Sokratis, Subotic, Hummels, Durm – Gundogan, Bender – Kampl, Kagawa, Reus – Aubameyang.

Even if the Bundesliga title is already in the bag, Bayern Munich will want to quickly return to the right track and improve the atmosphere in the squad ahead of the crucial Champions League fixtures.

The Bavarians will be vying Porto for a place in the CL semi-finals, but there is still plenty of time ahead of the first leg and no doubt the entire focus will be on the clash at Signal-Iduna Park.

Bayern have just suffered a disappointing home defeat to Bourssia M’gladbach, and they will be eager to produce a response when facing Borussia Dortmund.

But, seeing as how they haven’t really impressed in previous meetings with the Millionaires, odds of 2.15 (23/20) offered on away win are not too tempting.

There have been some bad news for Pep Guardiola this week as full-back David Alaba was ruled out for up to seven weeks through a knee problem, and he is not the only important player missing out.

While Arjen Robben has failed to recover from injury, the likes of Franck Ribery and Holger Badstuber are unavailable as well.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Neuer – Rafinha, Boateng, Benatia, Bernat – Lahm, Alonso, Schweinsteiger – Muller, Lewandowski, Gotze.
