Belgium vs SpainHaving failed to reach the final stages of yet another major competition, Belgium embark on a new era with Roberto Martinez and Thierry Henry.

Meanwhile, Spanish Football Federation appointed Julen Lopetegui to replace Vicente Del Bosque, as they believe a fresh approach is needed at this difficult moment.

On paper, Belgium boast one of the most impressive squads in world football, but the problem is that they are still not working well as a team.

The Red Devils did reach the last eight at last two major competitions, but at the same time missed a very good opportunity to mount a serious title challenge.

After Marc Wilmots failed to get the best out of the team, Roberto Martinez was elected as his successor, with the Spaniard then appointing Thierry Henry to be his assistant manager.

The former Everton boss clearly believes that Belgium need to improve up front if they want to realise their full potential and he hopes the Arsenal legend will help turn his side into a ruthless attacking machinery.

Belgium are available at 2.75 (7/4) to see off Spain in Brussels and thus improve the dressing room atmosphere before the start of the 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign.

Premier League stars Marouane Fellaini and Vincent Kompany are both out injured, whereas Nacer Chadli has been omitted.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Courtois – Meunier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, J. Lukaku – Nainggolan, Witsel, De Bruyne – Carrasco, Lukaku, Hazard.

Vicente Del Bosque’s highly successful reign at the helm of the Spain national team recently came to an end, with Julen Lopetegui chosen as his successor.

The former Under-21 boss is widely expected to rejuvenate the side that brought old glory days back to La Furia Roja, and Iker Casillas and Cesc Fabregas were the first to pay the price.

There were more high-profile omissions as Juanfran, Hector Bellerin, Bruno Soriano, Isco and Santi Cazorla miss out as well, while Andres Iniesta is out injured.

Real Madrid starlet Marco Asencio is in the squad, as are Sergi Roberto and Saul Niguez, with the trio predicted a bright future in the national team.

West Ham United goalkeeper Adrian Martinez has taken Iker Casillas’ place, while Pepe Reina is a surprise inclusion, and Diego Costa returns.

Julen Lopetegui will stay true to the 4-3-3 formation, and it looks that his only dilemma is who will start up front, with Diego Costa, Alvaro Morata and Paco Alcacer vying for one position.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-3): De Gea – Carvajal, Pique, Ramos, Alba – Thiago, Busquets, Saul – Vitolo, Morata, Nolito.
