Following the 3-0 hammering of Schalke, Bayern Munich will be looking to extend the good run of results and place extra pressure on leaders Borussia Dortmund.

Wolfsburg, on the other hand, have had another slow start to the Bundesliga campaign, scoring mere three goals in first five fixtures.

Arriving at Allianz Arena as one of world’s most decorated coaches, Carlo Ancelotti was tipped to finally lead Bayern Munich to Champions League glory.

The Italian has failed to do so in his first season and if things do not go according to plan this term, he could be in problems.

Bayern Munich have added few more quality footballers to their ranks this summer in an attempt to end a five-year wait for the UCL title.

If we disregard the unexpected defeat to Julian Nagelsmann’s Hoffenheim, the Bavarians have done fairly well this season.

Bayern defeated Borussia Dortmund in the German Super Cup, before going on to win seven of next eight games in all competitions.

After the comfortable 3-0 triumph over Schalke at Veltins Arena, the Bavarians can be backed at 1.60 (3/5) for a half-time/full-time win.

David Alaba, Manuel Neuer and Juan Bernat remain on the sidelines, while it remains to be seen whether Arjen Robben will recover from illness in time to face Wolfsburg.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Ulreich – Kimmich, Hummels, Boateng, Rafinha – Thiago, Rudy – Rodriguez, Vidal, Ribery – Lewandowski.

After narrowly escaping the drop last season, Wolfsburg are eager to do much better this term, but the first signs have not been exactly positive.

The club chiefs decided to sack coach Andries Jonker after the first four league games of the season, with Martin Schmidt brought to replace him.

The former Mainz boss could only muster a 1-1 draw with Werder Bremen in his first game in charge, but there were definitely some positives to be taken from the game.

Yunus Malli was handed the first start of the season and he fared pretty well, especially in the first period, while summer recruit Divock Origi scored his first goal for the club.

With Mario Gomez sidelined through injury, the Belgian will continue up front, but new boss has few more selection worries.

While John Brooks is definitely out, the likes of Jeffrey Bruma, Jakub Blaszczykowski, Marcel Tisserand and Kaylen Hind are unlikely to feature.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Casteels – Verhaegh, Knoche, Uduokhai, Gerhardt – Camacho, Arnold – Malli, Didavi, Ntep – Origi.
