Leverkusen vs BayernThe Bavarians will be looking to keep the maximum record intact when they host Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday, having recorded a hard-fought win over Hoffenheim last time out.

Buoyed by the impressive triumph over Lazio in the Champions League play-off, die Werkself arrive at Allianz Arena in excellent spirits.

Despite lifting their third consecutive Bundesliga trophy last term, the Bavarians could not be entirely satisfied with their performances last season having failed to reach the Champions League final.

As a result, the club chiefs were keen to strengthen the playing squad in the summer and they appear to have made perfect signings.

While Arturo Vidal has yet to hit the ground running after taking part at the 2015 Copa America, Douglas Costa has been absolutely brilliant in the opening exchanges, playing a key role in helping the team record four straight wins.

After hammering Hamburg in the opening Bundesliga fixture, Bayern experienced all sorts of problems away at Hoffenheim, but they came from a goal down and scored with ten men to secure another important victory.

And despite now facing a serious defensive crisis, the Bavarians have been made 1.33 (1/3) to extend the winning run against Leverkusen.

Jerome Boateng misses out through suspension, whereas the likes of Holger Badstuber, Mehdi Benatia, Javi Martinez, Franck Ribery and Jan Kirchhoff are out injured.

Probable starting line-up (3-3-3-1): Neuer – Rafinha, Alonso, Alaba – Thiago, Lahm, Vidal – Robben, Muller, Costa – Lewandowski.

Bayer Leverkusen were unable to mount a serious title challenge last term, but they did well to achieve a top 4 finish, even if they missed out on automatic Champions League berth.

Die Werkself were handed a tough draw in the play-offs having been pitted against Lazio and they appeared to be in a difficult situation after the 1-0 defeat at Stadio Olimpico.

However, they produced an excellent performance in the return leg to record a 3-0 victory and can now fully focus on their league campaign.

Together with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen are one of three sides that have won both leaugue fixtures so far, defeating Hoffenheim at home before beating Hannover on the road.

And while extending that run against Bayern might prove mission impossible, both teams to score bet should be considered at 1.91 (10/11).

Heung-Min Son will not be in the match squad as he is set to complete a move to Tottenham, whilst Tin Jedvaj, Omer Toprak and Charles Aranguiz are out injured.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Leno – Hilbert, Papadopoulos, Tah, Wendell – Kramer, Bender – Bellarabi, Calhanoglu, Mehmedi – Kiessling.
