Atletico vs LeverkusenIt will be up to revived Bayer Leverkusen to try and stop newly-promoted Red Bull Leipzig from extending their winning run to amazing six matches when the two sides square off at Bay Arena.

Die Werkself have experienced plenty of problems in the opening exchanges as their squad was decimated by injuries to star players.

As a result, the team could not find the right balance between their domestic and European campaigns, but the situation is slowly improving.

While Leverkusen made a giant step towards the Champions League knockout stages by defeating Spurs at Wembley Stadium, they have also improved their league position.

Back to back wins over Wolfsburg and Darmstadt saw die Werkself climb to eighth in the standings, which is not where they want to be, but still better than few weeks back.

Leverkusen now welcomes back a number of important players ahead of the clash with red-hot RB Leipzig and they can be backed at 2.38 (11/8) to emerge victorious.

Roger Schmidt should have Charles Aranguiz back in contention as the injury he suffered on international duty is not too serious, but Lars Bender remains on the sidelines.

Joel Pohjanpalo, Omer Toprak, Kevin Kampl and Vladimir Yurchenko have all resumed full training and should be competing for starting positions.

Probable starting line-up (4-4-2): Leno – Henrichs, Tah, Toprak, Wendell – Brandt, Baumgartlinger, Aranguiz, Calhanoglu – Hernandez, Mehmedi.

Considering the heavy investment in the playing squad over the last couple of years, Red Bull Salzbug were not exactly expected to fight for Bundesliga survival.

However, chances are that not even the most optimistic of fans could have predicted such an impressive start to the season.

Ten games into the new campaign and the Bulls sit level on points with Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich, and they look unstoppable at the moment.

Red Bull Leipzig have now recorded five successive triumphs in the league campaign and they are 3.10 (21/10) to make it six on the bounce.

The visitors are sweating over the fitness of Timo Werner and Oliver Burke as they have been struck with cold, but the duo should be in contention to face Leverkusen.

The good news is that all players have returned from international duty unscathed, but Bernardo, Ken Gipson and Lukas Klostermann are expected to miss out.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-2-2): Gulacsi – Ilsanker, Orban, Compper, Halstenberg – Keita, Demme – Sabitzer, Forsberg – Poulsen, Werner.
