Ivory Coast vs TogoFirst place in Group D will be up for grabs when Ivory Coast take on Tunisia in Phokeng, although both sides are looking to show an improvement in their performances after recording lucky wins in their opening fixtures.

For the umpteenth time, Cote d’Ivoire arrived at a major tournament as main candidates for the trophy, but once again they experienced all sorts of problems during their opening match.

Sabri Lamouchi’s side were well below par against Togo and were very lucky to score a winner in the dying moments of the match after the opposing keeper committed a huge mistake.

While Yaya Toure and Gervinho were on top of their game, their teammates had a pretty poor match, with Didier Drogba arguably the biggest disappointment.

Another such showing could end up costing the Elephants dearly against counterattacking Tunisia side, but they are still 1.62 (5/8) favourites with Coral to win their second group fixture.

Ivory Coast captain Didier Drogba was clearly not at his best against Togo, but he is 2.50 (3/2) with BetVictor to rediscover his scoring boots and help his side win this all-important clash.

Sabri Lamouchi is unlikely to make major changes to the starting line-up, although Cheick Tiote and Salomon Kalou are pushing for starting places.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Barry – Eboue, K. Toure, Bamba, Tiene – Zokora, Tiote – Gervinho, Y. Toure, Kalou – Drogba.

Tunisia can consider themselves very fortunate to have picked up all three points from the Maghreb derby, given they were on the back foot for most of the game.

While Algeria were missing chance after chance, the Carthage Eagles were waiting for their opportunity and eventually recorded a very important win thanks to an amazing strike from Youssef Msakni.

As a result, Tunisia are now in a very good position to qualify from Group D, although a point from the Ivory Coast match would certainly get them closer to their goal.

With that in mind, you should know draw pays 3.75 (11/4) at SkyBet. On the other hand, the Carthage Eagles are 7.00 (6/1) with bet365 to pick up maximum points.

Sami Trabelsi is set to make a number of changes to his starting line-up, and not only because striker Issam Jemaa has been ruled out of the tournament.

Bilel Ifa, Anis Boussaidi, Oussama Darragi and Fakhreddine Ben Youssef are all expected to start against Ivory Coast.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-1-2): Ben Cherifia – Boussaidi, Ifa, Abdennour, Chemmam – Darragi, Hammami, Mouelhi – Msakni – Khelifa, Ben Youssef.
