Sevilla vs VillarrealThe 2-2 draw in the first leg is enough to suggest that Sevilla are in a good position to reach third straight Europa League final.

Nevertheless, Shakhtar Donetsk will not go down without a fight, especially as they are buoyed by the 3-0 hammering of bitter rivals Dynamo Kiev.

Sevilla are already the most successful side to have taken part in the Europa League, but they now want to set a new record.

Having won back to back trophies, los Rojiblancos are in the hunt for third EL title in a row and that would definitely be a remarkable achievement.

Unai Emery’s charges have failed to mount a serious top 4 challenge in La Liga, meaning this is their only opportunity to secure Champions League football for next season.

Los Rojiblancos did well to score two goals in the first leg against Shakhtar, taking an early lead before scoring late to make it 2-2, and they are now 1.70 (7/10) favourites to win the return leg.

Coach Unai Emery rested a number of important players in weekend’s defeat to Espanyol and they are now all set to be recalled.

However, French defender Timothee Kolodziejczak is unlikely to feature after suffering a concussion, whereas Michael Krohn-Dehli, Benoit Tremoulinas and Marco Andreolli are sidelined as well.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Soria – Mariano, Rami, Carrico, Escudero – N’Zonzi, Krychowiak – Vitolo, Banega, Konoplyanka – Gameiro.

This is arguably not the strongest Shakhtar side in the 21st century, but it is the first one to have come this far since the UEFA Cup winning side in 2009.

The Miners lost the title race with arch rivals Dynamo Kiev on domestic stage, but got perfect revenge as they hammered Serhiy Rebrov’s side 3-0 at the weekend.

There were some shocking scenes in the closing stages as both sets of players were involved in a massive brawl, but coach Mircea Lucescu hopes that will not affect the team’s preparations for the game at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Shakhtar boast an impressive away record in this year’s competition having defeated the likes of Schalke, Anderlecht and Sporting Braga, and they are 4.33 (10/3) shot to qualify for the final.

While midfielder Fred continues to miss out through suspension, there are no other selection worries for coach Mircea Lucescu ahead of the clash in Andalucia.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Pyatov – Srna, Kucher, Rakitiskiy, Ismaily – Malyshev, Stepanenko – Marlos, Kovalenko, Taison – Ferreyra.
