Thursday evening’s match at Goodison Park sees Everton host BSC Young Boys in the second leg of their Europa League round of 32 tie.

The Merseyside club have one foot in the last sixteen after romping to a 4-1 victory in Bern a week ago, and will undoubtedly see this as their best path into a European competition for the 2015/16 campaign.

Guillaume Hoarau had given the hosts an early lead, though a hat-trick from Romelu Lukaku and and a goal from Seamus Coleman wrapped up victory for the visitors.

The winners of the Europa League will, for the first time, qualify for the following seasons Champions League, and the Toffees currently sit eighteen points behind Southampton in fifth and a further point off fourth place Manchester United.

Roberto Martinez is likely to keep faith with first choice goalkeeper Tim Howard despite the US international being criticised for both of Leicester City’s two goals in their 2-2 draw with Everton on Sunday.

Midfield duo Steven Pienaar and Leon Osman will both face late fitness tests ahead of the game, while Christian Atsu definitely misses out through illness though Sylvin Distin is available.

Top scorer Lukaku is the favourite to open the scoring at 5.5 (9/2) with Paddy Power, with Kevin Mirallas an 8.0 (7/1) chance with the same firm.

The home win is 1.7 (7/10) with a variety of firms, with the visitors widely available at 5.5 (9/2). The draw can be backed at 4.0 (3/1) with a number of bookmakers.

Young Boys currently sit second in the Swiss Premier League, eight points behind FC Basel, though they beat the leaders 4-2 last time out.

Hoarau, who also scored in stoppage time at the weekend, is 11.0 (10/1) to get the first goal of the game with Paddy Power, ahead of Alexander Gerndt, who is a 13.0 (12/1) chance with Coral.

If you fancy both teams to score this time around, a price of 1.91 (10/11) is widely available, while Bet Victor offer a 3.4 (12/5) for there to be four or more goals scored in the game.
