Premier League

Monday night’s Premier League action comes from the London Stadium as West Ham United takes on Huddersfield Town.

The hosts sit bottom of the table after losing all three of their games so far this season and will be desperate to not make that four defeats as they were relegated the last time they opened a campaign with that record.

They will leapfrog Bournemouth and Crystal Palace if they at least draw here with both of those sides also yet to get off the mark.

Andy Carroll is in line to make his first appearance of the season after recovering from a thigh problem and Winston Reid is also available though Manuel Lanzini, Edimilson Fernandes and Andre Ayew were all injured on international duty and Marco Arnautovic is suspended.

Javier Hernandez is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 5.5 (9/2) with Sky Bet while Michail Antonio is a 8.5 (15/2) shot with Bet 365.

The home win can be backed at 2.1 (11/10) with Coral with the visitors as highly priced as the 4.05 (58/19) on offer from Unibet, who have the draw at 3.55 (28/11).

In contrast to their opponents the Terriers have had a dream start to the season taking seven points from their opening three games while they are the only side yet to concede.

Victory here would see them move level on points with both Manchester sides with United above City on goal difference.
David Wagner could be without Colin Quaner who is struggling with a knee problem though new signings Abdelhamid Sabiri and Florent Hadergjonaj could each make their debuts.

Steve Mouine is widely available at 7.5 (13/2) to open the scoring ahead of 11.0 (10/1) chance Tom Ince.

This is the first league meeting between these two sides in over thirty-five years with West Ham winning 3-0 at Upton Park back in March 1972.

A number of firms offer a price of 4.2 (16/5) for Huddersfield to keep a fourth consecutive league clean sheet while the away win to nil can be backed at 7.0 (6/1) with Bet Victor.
