Wellington SilvaArsenal winger Wellington Silva has finally earned his right to play in English Premier League, more than four years after joining the Gunners.

The talented footballer was signed by the North London side in January 2011 and they were then forced to farm him out on various loans as the player was unable to get a work permit.

He has since represented no fewer than five clubs in Spain’s first and second division, and all that time spent in the country paid off as the 22-year-old was finally given Spanish passport.

“The good thing is slow in coming, but arrives with the greatest satisfaction in the world,” the Brazilian tweeted alongside a picture of Spanish passport.

As a result, Wellington Silva is now eligible to represent Arsenal in the Premier League and is likely to be added to team’s pre-season squad in the summer.

The Gunners have been absolutely amazing over the last couple of months and are available at 1.83 (5/6) to defend the FA Cup trophy.
