Sunday’s Premier League action kicks off at Vicarage Road where Watford face Manchester United.

The Hornets secured their first win of the season last weekend, coming from two behind to beat West Ham United 4-2 at the London Stadium.

That result moved them on to four points along with six other sides though their superior goal difference sees them on top of that group in tenth position ahead of the weekends fixtures.

Stefano Okaka faces a month out after picking up a hamstring injury on his debut last week while their are question marks over the fitness of Younes Kaboul and Sebastian Prodl who also picked up knocks against the Hammers.

Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo can each be backed at 10.0 (9/1) to get the first goal of the game with a number of firms while Etiene Capoue, who has three in four so far this season can be backed at 29.0 (28/1) with Stan James.

The home win is as highly priced as the 6.0 (5/1) on offer from several bookmakers with the visitors favourites at 1.7 (7/10) with Coral. The draw can be backed at 4.1 (31/10) with Betfred.

Jose Mourinho’s side go in to this game on the back of back-to-back defeats following last weekend’s Manchester derby disappointment with a loss to Feyenord in their Europa League opener on Thursday evening.

However, they could end the weekend on top of the table should the win here and other results fall in their favour with Manchester City and Everton, who currently occupy the top two spots in the division playing Bournemouth and Middlesbrough respectively on Saturday afternoon.

Captain Wayne Rooney is expected to be recalled after being rested midweek while Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw could also return though Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are both doubtful.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is favourite to open the scoring at 4.5 (7/2) with Paddy Power with Paul Pogba a 7.5 (13/2) shot with the same firm.

United have won the last ten meetings between the sides scoring at least twice in eight of those fixtures and they are priced at 1.66 (4/6) with Sky Bet to get over 1.5 this time around.
