Sunday’s sole Premier League match comes from Vicarage Road where Watford take on Crystal Palace.

The Hornets go in to the game on the back of back-to-back Premier League wins – a feat they hadn’t achieved since the beginning of the 1999/2000 campaign when they triumphed against Liverpool and Bradford City.

Quique Florres’ side began the weekend in tenth place, level on points with their opponents, and their defeat to Manchester City last month was their only loss in the league since returning to the top flight.

Valon Behrami misses the game through suspension while the hosts’ only injury concern is Joel Ekstrand, who is unlikely to feature again this year.

Captain Troy Deeney, who is yet to net this season is joint favourite to open the scoring with top scorer Odion Ighalo, with both priced at 7.0 (6/1) with Sky Bet.

The home win is 2.55 (31/20) with Bet Victor, with the visitors as highly priced as the 3.15 (28/13) on offer from 888 Sport. The draw can be backed at 3.4 (12/5) with Betfred.

Palace have suffered 1-0 defeats in each of their last two league games, but go into this game on the back of Wednesday’s League Cup third round victory over Charlton Athletic.

Two of the Eagles’ wins have come away from home and a third here would see them move into the top six.

Joe Ledley could again feature after playing midweek following a hamstring problem though Scott Dann, Damien Delaney and Connor Wickham are all doubtful.

Paddy Power have Patrick Bamford at 10.0 (9/1) in the first goalscorers market, while Jason Puncheon is an 11.0 (10/1) chance with Coral.

These two sides last met in the 2012/13 Championship Play-Off final, with Kevin Phillips’ extra-time penalty enough to separate the sides and send Palace into the Premier League.

The three meetings prior to that clash included four or more goals, so you may be tempted to back that outcome at 4.0 (3/1) with a variety of firms while you can bet on both teams to score at a price of 1.85 (17/20) with Betfair.
