Premier League

Monday evening’s Premier League action takes place at Vicarage Road, where Watford take on Arsenal.

It’s almost two weeks since Javi Gracia’s men played in the league, with them busy booking their place in the FA Cup final to the tune of a 3-2 after extra-time come-from-behind victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend.

Victory for the Hornets would see them move up to seventh place, while they also have another game in hand over most of their rivals for that position.

Jose Holebas will miss the game after picking up a hamstring injury last time out, while Tom Cleverley and Domingos Quina also unavailable.

Troy Deeney can be backed at 8.0 (7/1) to open the scoring, with Gerard Deulofeu a 9.0 (8/1) chance with some firms.

The home win is as highly priced as the 3.3 (23/10) on offer from Betfair, with the visitors favourites at 2.25 (5/4) with most companies. The draw is priced at 3.75 (11/4) with Betfred.

Unai Emery’s side saw their six-game unbeaten run ended by Everton last weekend, though a return to winning ways here would see them climb back into the top four, above Chelsea on goal difference.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos is suspended after picking up his tenth booking of the campaign at Goodison Park with fellow defenders Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding long term absentees through injury, along with Danny Welbeck though Granit Xhaka may recover from a groin problem in time to feature.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 5.0 (4/1), with Aaron Ramsey available at 13.0 (12/1).

Two late goals secured all three points for the North Londoners in the reverse fixture back in September, while last season’s corresponding match ended in victory for the Hornets, who came from a goal down to triumph 2-1.

You can both teams to score at a widely available price of 1.44 (4/9), while Betfair offer 1.62 (8/13) for there to be three or more goals scored in the game.

Alternatively you can back there being a goal in both halves, as there has been in all but one of the last six meetings between the two at 1.57 (4/7).
